The Anantnag security operation to neutralise terrorists in the hilly region of Gadole forests in Kokarnag area entered in its fourth day. According to reports, two more terrorists are hiding in the region.
In the ongoing Anantnag encounter, three terrorists have been successfully neutralized as the security operation reaches its fourth day in the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) region.
Current reports suggest that two additional terrorists remain concealed in the mountainous terrain within the Gadole forests of Kokernag, Anantnag. Security forces have been closely monitoring the movements of these two terrorists through drone surveillance.
The terrorists have sought refuge within a cave, estimated to be approximately 10-15 feet in length, situated in the hilly expanse of Gadole forests.
Meanwhile, the lifeless bodies of three terrorists have been identified and located.
This joint security operation, executed by the Indian Army, J&K police, and specialized commandos, has been ongoing for over 93 hours.
The security forces have cordoned off the entire area and are meticulously tracking every movement of the two terrorists who are yet to be neutralized.
