Urfi Javed Arrested by Mumbai Police Allegedly for Violating Dress Code? Here’s the Truth

Urfi Javed’s daring fashion choices have been a subject of conversation for some time now, as she is known for wearing outfits crafted from unconventional materials such as blades, bottle caps, flowers, and more. However, a recent video that emerged on November 3rd seemed to depict her being apprehended at a Mumbai cafe for sporting a bold attire in public. The video, shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, featured Urfi Javed at a cafe, where a group of female police officers approached her and informed her that she was being taken into custody.

One of the female officers cited her clothing as the reason, saying, “Who roams around in such tiny clothes?” They escorted her to the police station while Urfi was wearing a backless red top and denim pants.

As soon as the video went viral, social media users reacted strongly to Urfi’s arrest. Some criticized her, suggesting it might be a prank or a promotional stunt. According to a report in India Today, the Mumbai police did not actually arrest Urfi Javed.

The actress has previously courted controversy due to her fashion choices. Last month, a complaint was filed against Urfi for her fashion choices at the Bandra Police Station, as reported by ETimes. The actress had visited the police station shortly thereafter.

Furthermore, a few days ago, Urfi claimed that she received rape and death threats after recreating Chota Pandit’s look from the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The role was originally portrayed by Rajpal Yadav in the 2007 film and is one of his most iconic characters.
