Scheduled for release on Diwali, November 12, the film’s prohibition in these regions is attributed to its portrayal of Islamic countries and characters in a negative light.
While the ban has not been officially confirmed by the film’s makers or its lead cast, fans hope for a global release that propels “Tiger 3” to become a blockbuster in Hindi cinema.
The film’s advance booking, initiated on November 5, a week before its theatrical release, has seen exceptional responses with ticket sales figures reflecting the immense craze around the film. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh notes that “Tiger 3” crossed the 1 lakh ticket sales mark at national chains, including PVR and Cinepolis, in just four days.
