Both Israel and the militant group Hamas have expressed apprehension regarding the scheduled release of hostages and prisoners set for Monday.
Officials informed Reuters that concerns have been raised by Israel and Hamas concerning the lists outlining the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners expected on Monday.
The official emphasized that Qatari mediators are actively engaged in working with both Israel and Hamas to address issues and prevent any potential delays.
“There is a minor issue with today’s lists. The Qataris are collaborating with both sides to resolve it and prevent delays,” stated the official.
During the preceding three days of the truce, Israel submitted the names of Palestinian women and teenagers slated for release from incarceration, while Hamas provided the names of Israeli civilian hostages at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled release.
