Professor Vipin Kishor Mishra from CKM Law College, Araria, has been missing since September 24, 2022. The police have not been able to find any clues regarding his whereabouts. Araria police have announced a reward of Rs. 50 thousand for providing information about the missing Professor Vipin Kishor Mishra. SP Ashok Kumar Singh said that the police are making every possible effort to locate the missing Professor Vipin Kishor Mishra. The court has been requested to conduct a polygraph test on the five suspects in the professor’s abduction case. The process of conducting lie detector tests on the accused has also begun. He mentioned that a reward of 50 thousand rupees has been announced for those who provide information leading to the discovery of the missing professor. The identity of the informants will be kept confidential.

Besides the metal detector and bomb disposal team, the canine squad was also called in earlier. The police are investigating from various angles to unravel the mystery of the abduction.
On September 24, 2022, the kidnapping of Professor Vipin Kishor Mishra from CKM Law College occurred when he left the college after marking attendance in the evening. After his abduction, on September 25, his wife, late Prem Lata Mishra, came from Birpur to Araria Thana and filed an FIR.
