Emphasizing the mantra of “inclusive development,” PM Modi commended Goa’s diverse communities and their peaceful coexistence. He credited the “Double-Engine Government” with accelerating progress, citing achievements like saturation of government schemes and record investments in infrastructure.
Focus on Welfare and Empowerment
The Prime Minister announced several welfare initiatives, including guaranteeing two crore houses to the poor and expanding flagship schemes like PM Awas Yojna and Ayushman Yojna. He also highlighted the Matsya Sampada Yojna, benefiting the fishing community, and lauded the formation of a dedicated Ministry for Fisheries and increased support for fish breeders.
