Modi doosri mitti ka insaan hai, Vikas in Azamgarh are keeping Opp awake: PM

Declaring in Azamgarh that, unlike past regimes, the projects for which he laid the groundwork in 2019 have since been realised, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of projects valued at Rs 34,000 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his criticism of the opposition India bloc on Sunday while in Azamgarh. He was there to lay the foundation for up to 782 projects worth Rs 34,700 crore in Uttar Pradesh and other regions of the nation. He claimed that his campaign on “this unending journey of development” is causing “sleepless nights” for those who have long engaged in “the politics of caste, dynasty, and vote bank,” particularly in Purvanchal.

“Dekh raha hai aaj desh. As the saying goes, “The country is watching; Modi is a man of mettle.” Elections should not be the lens through which anyone views the foundation stones being laid in 2024. It’s a part of my quest to continue this never-ending development adventure. In order for the nation to attain the goal of a Viksit Bharat by 2047, I am moving quickly, and I am leading the charge,” Modi declared.

He claimed that although Azamgarh had previously experienced the perils of “mafia raj,” or mafia rule, and “kattarpanth,” or fanaticism, it is currently experiencing the “rule of law.”

He mentioned the ongoing developments in the area related to the airport, railroads, and university, and stated that Azamgarh has the “Modi ki Guarantee” to become “Ajanam vikas ka garh” (a stronghold of progress for all time).

He stated that in the past, projects were launched in Parliament, but neither the leaders who laid the foundation stones nor the stones themselves were ever seen again. However, he stated that the projects for which he laid the groundwork in 2019 are now being carried out.

He claimed that while caste and appeasement politics dominated Azamgarh and Purvanchal for many years, the politics of development picked up steam in the final year of the NDA’s central government, particularly during the seven years that Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh as chief minister.

“The INDI Alliance is having restless nights because it is depending on politics of caste, dynasty, and vote bank.” He targeted the SP, which had previously regarded Azamgarh as its bastion and was formerly represented by Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav.

According to Modi, a family that viewed Azamgarh as their stronghold lost it to a young person like Dinesh Lal in the most recent election. In order to ensure a “clean sweep” for the NDA in Uttar Pradesh in the next elections, he asked for Azamgarh’s assistance.

He stated that whereas in the past, projects for cities such as Azamgarh were inaugurated from other districts or states, in the present day, Azamgarh is the site of the foundation stone or inauguration of various development projects, such as airports and railways, for the state and other regions of the nation.

He said, “Azamgarh ka sitara chamak raha hai (Azamgarh’s star is shining)” and claimed that the “double engine government” had altered Azamgarh’s “tasveer” (perception) and “taqdeer” (destiny).

He dedicated and placed the cornerstones for 782 development projects totaling Rs 34,700 crore. The inauguration of Maharaja Suhel Dev State University in Azamgarh; the opening of new terminal buildings at the airports of Jabalpur, Gwalior, Pune, Kolhapur, Delhi, and Adampur; the opening of new terminal buildings at the airports of Azamgarh, Shravasti, Moradabad, Chitrakoot, and Aligarh; the opening of 12 railway projects valued at Rs. 8176 crore; and the opening of 1040 apartments in Lucknow under four Light House Projects were among them.
