After Covid 19 everyone’s lifestyle had made a drastic change. People started leading a sedentary life even they do not want to and the biggest reason behind this is slow working metabolism, stress level is become high. To maintain a good lifestyle, we should follow healthy diet that balance your body and metabolism. We eat many foods and grains in our daily life, but we do not know how much quantity we should consume them or which food gives us what benefits.

- ➢ Eat more vegetables and fruits: Vegetables and fruits are good sources of vitamins and
minerals. They’re also low in calories and rich in fibre people who eat more vegetables
and fruits tend to live longer and have a lower risk for heart disease, obesity, and other
illnesses. - ➢ Choose whole grains: Whole grain foods have fibre, protein and vitamins B to help you
stay healthy and full longer. Always choose whole grain options instead of processed or
refined grains. - ➢ Choose low-fat protein: Try to avoid red and processed meats. Instead, of that choose
eggs, beans, tofu, fish, soya and low-fat dairy. - ➢ Limit unhealthy fats: Saturated fats are mostly found in animal products like meat,
cheese and butter, ghee. To help with healthy blood pressure levels, Try to keep your
intake of saturated fats to 15 grams per day. Avoid trans fats as much as possible. - ➢ Stay hydrated: Avoid sugary drinks and instead drink water. Lower-fat, unsweetened
milk, coconut water is also a good way to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water, your body
needs at least 2.5-liter water a day. - ➢ Eat less salt: Use salt no more than 6g a day for adults. Eating lots of salt can increase
your risk of high blood pressure, which in turn increases risk of heart diseases and
stroke. - ➢ Limit highly processed foods: Try to buying limit the amount of highly processed
foods in your shopping. Eating much highly processed food increase the risk of lifestyle
disorders like Diabetes, Hypertension, PCOS/PCOD and obesity.
