Think 500/500 Is Impossible? Singrauli’s Pragya Jaiswal Just Proved It Wrong!
Girls shine once again in MP Board exams; toppers gave credit to parents and teachers for their success.

New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released the Class 10 and 12 test results, Pragya Jaiswal of Singrauli is leading the way, having scored a perfect 500 out of 500 in the Class 10 board exams to earn top place in the state, and once again, it is the state’s daughters who have emerged as academic toppers.
Pragya, a Glorious Public School student, has accomplished this on her own merit, with no tuition or coaching, only hard work, self-preparation, and guidance from her instructors and parents. She values her family’s ongoing encouragement and the school’s well-organized learning system.
Pragya informed me that my priority was always completing targets rather than studying by the clock. “I never stuck to a set number of study hours.” Instead, I established a daily goal and studied until I achieved it. On some days, it would take me five hours, while others would take longer. But I was always sure of what I wanted to do every day.”
Pragya hails from an academically oriented family. Her father, Vinay Kumar Jaiswal, is a government higher secondary school teacher, and her mother, Shashikala Jaiswal, teaches in a government higher secondary school. Her younger brother, Prabhat Jaiswal, is studying in Class 8 at Sainik School, Rewa.
Looking ahead, Pragya has set her sights on cracking the UPSC civil services examination, an aspiration she’s determined to pursue with the same discipline and focus that helped her achieve academic excellence in Class 10. “I’ve always wanted to serve the country, and the civil service is the path I’ve chosen for that,” she said.
Trailing Pragya, Ayush Dwivedi of Mauganj came at the state level with 499 out of 500 marks. Ayush is a student at Amit Public School and comes from a family of educators, as both his parents are teachers at government schools.
In other high rankings, Anjali Sharma of a village in Rewa, who studies at Saviour Public School, ranked fourth with 497 marks. Model Higher Secondary School student Animesh Dwivedi ranked fifth with a mark of 496.
The superb performance of these students, especially girls, has added tremendous glory to Madhya Pradesh and, in particular, to the Vindhya belt region, to which most of them belong. These tales of endurance, self-discipline, and robust support from their family support systems serve as a benchmark and inspiration to other students from around the nation.
