Indira IVF Expands in Bihar: 12th Fertility Center Opens in Phulwari Sharif, Patna

Indira IVF has inaugurated its newest fertility center in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, further strengthening access to reproductive healthcare in Bihar. This marks the 12th center in the state, dedicated to providing advanced fertility care for couples and individuals seeking parenthood. The expansion underscores Indira IVF’s commitment to making fertility treatment more accessible through cutting-edge reproductive technologies combined with personalized care.
The launch event was attended by Bihar’s Minister of Health and Law, Mangal Pandey, as the chief guest, along with former minister Shyam Rajak as the special guest. Also present were Dr. Dayanidhi Kumar, Bihar Head and Patna Center Head of Indira IVF, and Dr. Puneet Hans, Center Head of Indira IVF Phulwari Sharif.
Enhancing Bihar’s Fertility Healthcare Infrastructure
Speaking at the event, Health Minister Mangal Pandey emphasized the need for accessible, high-quality, and affordable healthcare to strengthen Bihar’s medical framework. He highlighted that with the rising demand for fertility treatments, the presence of specialized centers within the state would prevent patients from traveling long distances, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes and strengthening the system.
Former minister Shyam Rajak addressed the social stigma surrounding infertility despite advancements in medical science. He stressed the importance of fostering an open dialogue about reproductive health so that individuals can explore treatment options without hesitation. “Fertility centers play a crucial role in breaking societal barriers and providing much-needed guidance and confidence to those in need,” he remarked.
Technology-Driven Fertility Solutions
Indira IVF’s Managing Director and Co-founder, Nitiz Murdia, highlighted the critical role of technology in fertility treatments. “Advanced medical technology not only ensures accurate diagnoses and effective treatments but also significantly improves success rates. Our mission is to provide ethical medical practices and the latest innovations to address complex infertility cases, ensuring every patient receives the best possible care tailored to their needs,” he said.
Dr. Dayanidhi Kumar, Bihar Head and Patna Center Head, pointed out that one of the biggest challenges in fertility treatment is the delay in seeking medical help, often due to a lack of awareness or misinformation. “Many people do not realize how factors like age, lifestyle, and health conditions impact fertility. Our goal is to educate individuals and provide timely interventions to enhance their chances of conception,” he explained.
Dr. Puneet Hans, Center Head of Indira IVF Phulwari Sharif, emphasized the emotional and psychological aspects of fertility treatment. “Fertility care is not just about medical procedures; it is about offering emotional support and personalized treatment plans. Every journey to parenthood is unique, and our new center is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that instills confidence and hope in our patients.”
Expanding Access to Quality Fertility Care
With over 160,000 successful IVF pregnancies and a presence in more than 160 locations across India, Indira IVF continues to expand its fertility care services. The establishment of the new center in Phulwari Sharif is a significant step toward making high-quality, scientifically-backed infertility treatments more accessible to a broader population in Bihar.
