Swiggy Launches ‘Pawlice’ Service to Help Reunite Pet Owners with Lost Pets
Swiggy Pawlice uses its delivery partners to assist in locating lost pets nearby.

Swiggy has launched a new service called “Swiggy Pawlice,” which aims to help pet owners find their lost pets using the company’s enormous delivery network. This project, which is available on the Swiggy app, allows pet owners to report a missing pet while Swiggy’s delivery partners act as extra eyes on the watch.
How can Swiggy Pawlice help?
Pet owners can use the app to report details and images of their lost dogs. Swiggy’s delivery fleet, which consists of over 350,000 partners who are constantly on the go, will help scan localities for sightings. If a delivery partner notices a lost animal, they tell Swiggy’s specialized staff, who subsequently notify the pet owner with precise details and location, ensuring the pet parent is ready for the reunion.
Swiggy also recognizes and rewards delivery partners who go above and beyond in these searches. This effort demonstrates Swiggy’s commitment to community support, offering pet owners more hope of reconnecting with their cherished dogs.

Steps to Use Swiggy Pawlice:
• Log in to the Swiggy app and make sure your location is set.
• Open the app’s search bar and type “Pawlice.”
• Tap on Swiggy Pawlice when it appears.
• The next page will show you how the service works.
• After scrolling down, select “Find My Pet.”
• Filling up details in a Google form will include inputting your name, contact, pet description, breed, last known area, and any additional specifications.
• If possible, upload a picture and click Submit to share the details.
Swiggy does, however, advise you to notify the appropriate authorities. Additionally, the date your pet became lost should not be more than 2 weeks from when you last saw it. Swiggy Pawlice might not be available in every part of India.
