Global Industrial Convention at SME’s Support Mela 2024 Boosts Gurugram Industry
Gurugram, August 31, 2024:
The bustling industrial hub of Gurugram was abuzz with the assembly of industry bigwigs, entrepreneurs, and business associations when Global Industrial Convention kicked off on the twin days of August 29th and 30th at GIA House. The two-day workshop, organized by the National Trade and Industry Council of the National Human Welfare Council in association with the Gurugram Industrial Association, was a grand platform wherein the future of industry in Gurugram, along with the issues concerning businesses today, were to be discussed.
The convention drew the participation of several well-known personalities from different fields. Ravi Kishore, Deputy General Manager of SIDBI, and Animesh Saxena, a senior official of the Garment Exporters and Manufacturing Association, spoke at critical stages. The views were also presented by stalwarts such as Dr. Pushpendra Pratap Singh, Country Head of Asia Shipping Company; Ramesh Agarwal, Chairman of Agarwal Packers and Movers; and Ramesh Bansal, Chairman of Dorset Company.

It was attended by senior representatives of big companies like Schneider Electric and Axis Daiki of Japan, apart from PHDCCI and leaders of Gurugram’s industrial associations. The experts provided invaluable guidance on the opportunities that new industries have opened and offered solutions to the urgent challenges of entrepreneurs.
The leading lights of the leading financial institutions were the main attractions. Senior officials with SIDBI Bank, IDFC Bank, RBL Bank, Union Bank, IIFL Bank, and Rupyapesa.com presented critical insights on subsidized loans and other schemes related to banking aimed at supporting and expanding industries. These are about to play a great role in the growth and development of Gurugram’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Another highlight of the convention was that the event gave a platform for the local industries to showcase their latest inventions. The major attraction for this convention was by Darekar Sanjay Chauhan from Adhunik Powertech, who presented an all-ss industrial coolers with absolutely no plastic part in it. His invention got a huge response and earned kudos among the audience.
In the motivational session on green energy, Mr. GSM Bajaj presented the world’s first CNG-powered bike, launched recently by Hon’ble Union Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari. That was one pioneering product reflecting the change the industry is going through in order to adapt to sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
The event culminated on a very positive note when its organizer, Gunjan Mehta, received congratulatory messages from various leaders of industrial associations. They assured him of full support for any future endeavor to uplift the industry and in every which way possible, for the hard work he has put into this event. He thanked all participants in his closing remarks, promising to continue with his efforts in order to contribute towards a developed India.
The convention came to a close with the singing of the national anthem, symbolizing most fittingly the unity of purpose and the resolve that had marked the event all along-emphasizing human effort and collaboration that led to its success.
