The Roshans: Behind the Scenes of Bollywood’s Most Iconic Family Comes to Netflix

Netflix on Wednesday launched an exclusive docuseries about Hrithik Roshan’s family. Through music and storytelling, audiences will be immersed in the rich tapestry of the family’s multigenerational past. For the first time, the Roshans will allow an intimate journey through their lives, dealing with three generations’ contributions to Hindi cinema.
With the caption, “A profound journey through legacy and love with the family that brought music, magic, and unforgettable moments to Hindi cinema,” Netflix revealed the first poster on their Instagram account. Check out The Roshans, which will soon be available only on Netflix. The poster features Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, and Hrithik Roshan.
The series will narrate the story of late Roshan Lal Nagrath, aka Roshan Saab. His lasting impact on the field is evident in his own work and in the accomplishments of his three descendants, Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, and Hrithik Roshan, each of whom has contributed in a different way to the landscape of the Indian entertainment world as directors, creators, musicians, and actors.

Director Shashi Ranjan stated, “Directing this documentary series has been an extremely fulfilling experience. Being extended an invitation into the Roshan family’s world and being trusted with the stewardship of their legacy is one for which I am especially grateful. It is a privilege to share their tale of ingenuity, bravery, and dedication to the globe; hence, it seemed only natural that Netflix tell the renowned movie family.”
Regarding his career, Hrithik Roshan co-stars with Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR in War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the action-packed entertainer already has promotional momentum. Now, according to sources, that excitement has been cranked up, as international stunt directors are allegedly brought on to stage one stunning climax sequence. According to the midday news, Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR are to shoot the high-paced climax scene mid-Tune-Day, starting in Mumbai, with a planned schedule of about 15 days. Starting from week two in December, the two will shoot the riveting final showdown in two noted locations: Film City in Goregaon and YRF Studios in Andheri.
