New Delhi: Bollywood actor Mrunal Thakur recently made a candid appearance on comedian Raunaq Rajani’s show while promoting her upcoming movie Do Deewane Shaher Mein. During the conversation, the actress opened up about her personal life, relationship, and dealing with insecurities.
“I Am Secure, But Insecurities Do Hit Sometimes”
When asked whether she considers herself secure in a relationship, Mrunal responded with refreshing honesty. She shared that while she generally sees herself as a secure person, moments of Insecurity do surface occasionally.
Her candid admission struck a chord with many, as she acknowledged that feeling insecure at times is human and natural, even for someone in the spotlight.
Ex-Boyfriend’s Insecurity During Her Big Projects
The conversation took a more personal turn when Mrunal revealed that her former boyfriend struggled with insecurity while she was working alongside major stars like Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor.
She shared that during that phase, her ex-boyfriend felt pressured and began working out intensely. Determined to transform himself, he reportedly lost around 15 kilograms. However, the drastic change proved difficult to maintain.
Eventually, he told Mrunal that he was exhausted and could not continue the intense fitness regime. Over time, he gained back 17-20 kilograms. Mrunal clarified that she had never asked him to lose weight or build muscles, emphasizing that the pressure was self-imposed due to his insecurities.
Her revelation highlighted how comparison and self-doubt can Strain relationships, especially when one partner is in the public eye.
Why She Prefers Long-Distance Relationships
Adding another interesting perspective, Mrunal mentioned that she prefers long-distance relationships. According to her, distance can sometimes be healthy, allowing both partners to focus on their careers and personal growth without constant pressure.
She explained that when both individuals are secure and understanding, long-distance relationships can create space for ambition while maintaining emotional connection.
