Bikaner House organises condolence meet to mourne death of retired officer Shri Yaduvendra Mathur of the Rajasthan Cadre of the Indian Administrative Service

New Delhi, May 9, 2024:

A condolence meeting was organized in New Delhi in mourning of the demise of Shri Yaduvendra Mathur, a retired officer of the Rajasthan cadre of the Indian Administrative Service from the 1986 batch. Senior administrative officers from Rajasthan paid their respects to Shri Mathur by observing two minutes of silence at the Bikaner House.

The condolence meeting held at Bikaner House saw the participation of senior officers from the Rajasthan cadre, including Shri V. Srinivasan, Shri Sanjay Malhotra, Shri Rajat Kumar Mishra, Shri Tanmay Kumar, Shri Naresh Pal Gangwar, Shri Rajeev Singh Thakur, Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Shri Rohit Kumar, Shri Pritam V. Yashwant, Shri Muktnand Agrawal, Shri Abhimanyu Kumar, among others, who shared their experiences with the late Yaduvendra Mathur. Additional Chief Secretary, Mrs. Anju Omprakash, along with other officials and employees of the state government, were also present on the occasion.

It is noteworthy that the demise of Shri Yaduvendra Mathur occurred on May 4, 2024, during a heart operation in Chennai. Apart from serving as an Additional Secretary in the NITI Aayog, late Shri Mathur served in various capacities in both the Rajasthan and Indian governments, including as the MD of Rajasthan Financial Corporation, Director of Revenue Intelligence, Chief Secretary Budget, Secretary Expenditure, Deputy Secretary Finance, and Collector of Bhilwara.
