In India, Motorola launched the much anticipated Razr 50 Ultra folding phone.

Motorola, now owned by Lenovo, has announced the Razr 50 Ultra, which will cost Rs. 99,999 for the edition with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This premium foldable device will be available for purchase on Motorola’s official website as well as major merchants such as Reliance Digital, during the Amazon Prime Day 2024 sale on July 20-21.

Motorola is providing an initial discount of Rs. 5,000 to lure in early buyers, bringing the total cost down to Rs. 94,999. Consumers who use certain bank cards to make purchases can also save an additional Rs. 5,000. Free EMI alternatives, along with Jio package discounts, are offered starting at Rs. 5,000 per month.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, which runs Android 14, features two SIM slots: an eSIM and a nano SIM. It features a 4-inch cover screen in addition to a 6.9-inch full-HD+ LTPO pOLED primary display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. Both monitors include Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and enable HDR10+. The device features an aluminum frame with a back covered in vegan leather.
The Razr 50 Ultra offers strong performance thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It features a dual-camera setup on the outside shell, with a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom. Within the internal display is a 32MP camera that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to do tasks like action engine and auto grin capture.

5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity choices available. Software-based face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are examples of security features. The proximity light sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and e-compass are the available sensor options. The gadget is rated as water resistant IPX8.
