Stree 2 box office collection day 14: The horror comedy, directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, will surpass the Rs 500 crore mark this weekend.
New Delhi: 29 August 2024
Amar Kaushik’s hit horror comedy sequel is establishing new standards, and Wednesday was no exception. After two weeks in theaters, Stree 2 broke its biggest milestone, surpassing the lifetime Hindi language collections of the Yash-starring actioner KGF Chapter 2.
The horror comedy, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, brought in its lowest single-day revenue on Wednesday, since its August 15 premiere, but the total was still remarkable enough to surpass KGF Chapter 2’s record. The movie took in about Rs 9.25 cr in revenue on Wednesday, marking a significant decline.

Stree 2 has already surpassed KGF Chapter 2’s record of Rs 435 cr by earning a projected Rs 445 cr at the domestic box office, according to official collections. As a result, Stree 2 is currently the sixth-highest grossing Hindi film of all time. Tuesday marked the film’s global completion of the Rs 600 cr milestone. Stree 2 will easily enter the third weekend with a significant jump in collections despite the anticipated decline in box office receipts. Stree 2 is likely to hit the Rs 500 crore benchmark by Monday.
As it continues to dominate, all eyes are on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which features a star-studded lineup including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Kapoor, are also gearing up for box office success and are the only two Hindi movies this year that are likely to challenge the box office records set by Stree 2.
