New Delhi: Hisense has officially expanded its television portfolio in India with the launch of the U7SE ULED Mini-LED TV series. The new U7SE series combines Mini-LED display technology, AI-powered picture processing, and Devialet-tuned audio features. With support for high refresh rates, advanced gaming features, and multiple screen size options, the lineup is designed to cater to both entertainment and gaming-focused users.
The launch comes as competition in the premium smart TV segment continues to intensify in India, with brands focusing on higher refresh rates, improved display technologies, and gaming-centric features. With Mini-LED panels and high refresh rate support becoming more common, companies like Hisense are positioning themselves in the affordable premium category to attract both gamers and home entertainment users.
The U7SE series is available in five screen sizes, ranging from 55 inches to 100 inches. The wider size selection allows buyers to choose a model based on their room requirements and viewing preferences. Hisense has announced an introductory starting price of ₹63,990 for the lineup in India.
Mini-LED Display and Hi-QLED Technology
The U7SE series uses Mini-LED backlighting technology to improve contrast and reduce blooming effects around bright objects. Instead of using a few large lights to illuminate the screen from behind, this TV uses thousands of tiny, microscopic LEDs grouped into sections. The Mini-LED system allows better control over backlighting zones, improving contrast and brightness performance.
According to Hisense, the technology delivers improved black levels and contrast performance. To make colors pop, Hisense uses a quantum-dot layer which they call Hi-QLED. The Hi-QLED panel is claimed to support over one billion colour shades. The lineup also carries Pantone Validation for colour accuracy.
An integrated AI RGB Light Sensor also continuously monitors the room’s lighting conditions, automatically tweaking the display’s brightness and color temperature to minimize eye strain.
Gaming Features
Hisense places a heavy emphasis on gaming performance with the U7SE series. The 55-inch to 85-inch models boast a native 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring fluid, blur-free motion during fast-paced gameplay.
The 100-inch variant features a native 165Hz refresh rate in Game Mode. Combined with modern HDMI 2.1 connectivity, the series supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), helping reduce screen tearing and input latency when paired with modern consoles or high-end gaming PCs.
Built-in Sound by Audio Experts
On the audio front, the U7SE series features an integrated sound system developed in partnership with Devialet. The TVs also include a built-in subwoofer, which is designed to enhance bass output and provide a more immersive sound experience without requiring additional audio equipment.
The Brains Behind the Screen
The U7SE series is powered by Hisense’s Hi-View AI Engine, which is designed to optimize picture quality in real time. The processor uses AI-based enhancements to optimize content displayed on the screen. The 100-inch model is equipped with the Hi-View AI Engine Pro.
The TVs run on Hisense’s VIDAA operating system and the platform supports access to popular streaming applications. For hands-free convenience, the TVs include built-in voice control, allowing users to search for content or adjust settings using simple voice commands.
