India's Tech Prodigy Meedhansh Honored at British Parliament in UK 27th June, 2025 , Delhi : Meedhansh Kumar Gupta, a young tech prodigy from Jalandhar, Punjab, has received global recognition at the prestigious Global Child Prodigy Awards (GCPA) 2025, held yesterday at the House of Commons, British Parliament, United Kingdom. The GCPA is among the world’s most esteemed platforms celebrating extraordinary talent under the age of 15. They launched the book of "Top 100 Child Prodigies 2025" from Member of Parliament, Orpington constituency, Mr.Gareth Bacon who also honored many child prodigies visited there across the world. Meedhansh is one of 100 exceptional young achievers, selected from thousands of nominations across 130 countries, honored for his outstanding contributions to education and technology. He is the only one selected as child prodigy from Punjab state. His journey began at just nine years old, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Meedhansh has become a multi-award-winning tech innovator, using his skills for social welfare. His accolades include national and world records — notably being recognized as the Youngest Website Developer in 2020. Passionate about sharing knowledge, Meedhansh has trained thousands of peers under the NGO Mission Aatmanirbhar. Demonstrating a hunger for learning, he completed 50 cutting-edge technology courses in just one week via LinkedIn Learning — a feat that earned him a world record. True to his belief that “learning must be given back to society,” Meedhansh has led impactful innovations. At age nine, he developed a telemedicine portal to aid COVID-19 efforts, and more recently, after completion of blockchain course from IIT Madras, he created the world’s first blockchain-based Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) to promote transparency in elections. In 2022, Meedhansh received India’s highest civilian honor for children, the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, presented by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In his speech, PM Modi praised Meedhansh’s achievements, noting that "the vision of an independent and self-reliant India is becoming a reality through young minds like Meedhansh." The Global Child Prodigy Awards is the world’s first initiative to recognize young talents across disciplines including music, arts, science, innovation, education, sports, and social impact. Beyond recognition, the platform connects prodigies with mentors, global leaders, and institutions to further develop their potential. Meedhansh’s recognition at GCPA 2025 solidifies his place among a distinguished global community of young changemakers and showcases India’s emergence as a hub of extraordinary young talent. WORLD
