The announcement was made by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which revealed the list of honourees in the Motion Pictures category, placing Padukone alongside international heavyweights such as Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, and Rami Malek.

This honour comes about a decade after Deepika debuted in the in the Hollywood film xXx:
