New Delhi, The University of Warwick commemorated its 60th anniversary with a high-profile media event at The Shangri-La in New Delhi, celebrating its six-decade journey of academic distinction, innovation, and global influence.
Senior representatives from the university, including Global Chief Communications, Marketing and Content Officer Ajay Teli and Director of Communications – Corporate Brand, Satnam Rana-Grindley, traveled from the UK to engage with the Indian media. The event reinforced Warwick’s ongoing commitment to cultivating talent and fostering impactful global partnerships, particularly with India.
The celebration reflected on the university’s growing legacy in the UK and India, underscoring its trailblazing research, exceptional education, and key industrial collaborations—such as its 25-year-long partnership with the Tata Group. Acknowledgement was also given to Warwick’s diverse alumni network, whose global achievements have fostered innovation and meaningful cross-border connections, particularly in India’s entrepreneurial landscape.
One such alumnus, Mamta Marasini, embodies the international spirit and innovation Warwick inspires. A Warwick Business School graduate with an MSc in Business with Marketing, Mamta has successfully channelled her academic experience and creative energy into establishing Roar Corp, a bold and innovative creative agency with offices in New Delhi and Kathmandu.

Founded in November 2023, Roar Corp specialises in brand strategy, event execution, social media marketing, and influencer engagement. In under a year, Mamta has led the agency as CEO to develop high-impact campaigns for global clients by blending data, storytelling, and technology to form strong, lasting audience relationships.
Affectionately referred to as the “Chief Lioness” by her team and clients, Mamta’s leadership is driven by passion and dedication. “Roar was born from sheer determination and a no-shortcut mindset,” she shares. “Each project is an opportunity to design bold and thoughtful experiences that align with our clients’ strategic vision. Whether it’s a product launch, content creation, or influencer storytelling, our aim is the same—to inspire and build impactful brands.”
Roar’s campaigns are guided by data, powered by creativity, and deeply human. By combining AI tools with intuitive insights, Mamta delivers marketing that is not just effective but emotionally resonant. Her impressive portfolio includes activations for top lifestyle brands like Superdry, G Star Raw, Yamaha, and Mothercare. Her strategic approach integrates research, media planning, and creative design into cohesive marketing solutions.
Mamta credits her Warwick education for shaping her journey. “I started at Warwick uncertain about my path but left empowered and ready to make a difference,” she recalls. “The clarity and confidence I gained there were instrumental in building my agency.”
She adds, “Warwick was the turning point. The academic rigour, the friendships, the challenges—they all helped me define what I wanted to do and why it mattered. Being part of the Warwick community is something I treasure. It’s a story I proudly share with friends and family.”
Now leading Roar Corp, Mamta is just beginning her entrepreneurial journey. With a dynamic team, a cross-border presence, and a mission to create marketing that truly moves people, she is building a brand that inspires others to do the same.
Roar Corp’s vision is unapologetically bold: to be the best friend every brand needs—and to make a powerful impact while doing so.
