New Delhi: Dr. Bhargav Mallappa, National Chairman and Founder of the Akhila Sevak Samaj Council (ASSC), held a meeting with Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi in New Delhi. The discussions centred on youth skill development, employment opportunities and entrepreneurship.
During the meeting, Dr. Mallappa invited Jitan Ram Manjhi to visit skill development institutes in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He shared details of the training programmes being conducted at these institutes to help young people gain practical skills and access employment, self-employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The Union Minister acknowledged and appreciated Dr. Mallappa’s work in the field of youth skill development. He expressed interest in visiting the institutes, meeting the students and learning more about the impact of the programmes at the grassroots level.
Dr. Mallappa also praised the Ministry of MSME for its efforts to encourage entrepreneurship, skill development and employment generation. He emphasised that stronger coordination between government initiatives and grassroots institutions could help expand skill training and livelihood opportunities for young people.
The meeting concluded with discussions on strengthening skill development programmes and creating wider opportunities for youth to pursue employment and entrepreneurship.
