Evangelist Slams Trump’s Comments as Un-Christian and Unconstitutional, Gives 30-Day Ultimatum for Policy Change
Globally renowned evangelist and peace activist Dr. K.A. Paul has strongly condemned U.S. President Donald Trump for his recent threats to assassinate Iranian leaders, calling his remarks a violation of Christian values and democratic principles. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Dr. Paul announced his intention to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump in the U.S. Congress and Senate.
Dr. Paul criticized Trump for publicly claiming that he spared the life of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei but later threatened to kill him for not showing gratitude. “This is not only inhumane but also a disgrace to Christianity,” Dr. Paul declared, accusing Trump of betraying both American citizens and global peace efforts.
Quoting from his 2020 book “Save America and the World from Trump”, Dr. Paul reminded the public that he had previously warned about the dangers of Trump’s politics of violence and hatred. “I tried to stop him, I tried to make him understand, but he refused to listen,” he said.
Dr. Paul also revealed that he has been in communication with leaders from both Iran and Israel, who have assured him they are not pursuing weapons of mass destruction. He accused Trump of ignoring U.S. intelligence reports and applying double standards in international affairs, particularly referencing the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Citing the U.S. Constitution, Dr. Paul argued that no American president can declare war without congressional approval. He labeled Trump’s behavior as not only unconstitutional but morally unacceptable. Urging prominent Republican senators such as John Thune, Ted Cruz, and Lindsey Graham to hold Trump accountable regardless of political consequences, Dr. Paul stressed the importance of prioritizing ethical governance.
He issued a 30-day ultimatum to Trump, demanding a change in his rhetoric and policies. If ignored, Dr. Paul vowed to proceed with impeachment efforts, warning that divine justice would follow. “Peace does not come through killing,” he emphasized, referencing the biblical commandment: “Thou shalt not kill.”
Dr. Paul concluded by reaffirming his commitment to peace and global harmony, saying it is his moral duty not to remain silent. He appealed to everyone to pray for President Trump’s wisdom and transformation.
