HRDS INDIA, the official partner organisation in the Operation Sindoor rehabilitation programme in Jammu and Kashmir, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of 27-year-old Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh. Das, a garment factory worker, was allegedly accused of blasphemy by his co-workers and subsequently dragged onto the street and lynched by a mob near a factory on the outskirts of Dhaka.
The organisation described the incident as a grave violation of human dignity and the rule of law. HRDS INDIA, which has been engaged in the holistic development of rural and tribal communities across India since 1995, reiterated that violence in the name of religion or unverified accusations must be unequivocally rejected and dealt with strictly through lawful and moral frameworks.
Responding to the incident, Atma Nambi, Spiritual Guru and President of HRDS INDIA, emphasised the need for justice rooted in compassion and wisdom. He said that such acts of brutality damage not only social harmony but also the spiritual fabric of society. Stressing civilisational responsibility, he called for truth to prevail and for perpetrators to be held accountable, warning against allowing hatred to overshadow humanity.

Expressing deeper concern over the recurring nature of such incidents, HRDS INDIA Founder-Secretary Aji Krishnan urged a firm and unambiguous response. He stated that Bangladesh’s repeated failure to ensure the safety of its Hindu citizens reflects a systemic problem that can no longer be addressed through routine diplomatic expressions. According to him, these incidents point to a sustained pattern of targeted hostility against Hindus, demanding strong diplomatic, economic, and international measures to ensure accountability.
Krishnan asserted that continued restraint only emboldens perpetrators and reinforces impunity. He emphasised that decisive action is essential to uphold human dignity and protect Hindu civilisational values, sending a clear message that violence will have consequences.
HRDS INDIA has called upon the concerned authorities to conduct a transparent investigation, ensure strict punishment for those responsible, and implement effective safeguards to prevent such crimes in the future. The organisation also appealed to citizens to remain united, peaceful, and vigilant while upholding constitutional and humanitarian principles in the pursuit of justice.
Reaffirming its commitment to social upliftment, tribal rights, education, healthcare, and national harmony, HRDS INDIA stated that it will continue to stand firmly against injustice and work towards a society grounded in dignity, mutual respect, and the rule of law.
