AIMF President calls attack on tourists a blow to national unity; urges PM Modi to ensure swift justice and preserve peace.
New Delhi: Lubna Asif, the National President of the All-India Minorities Front (AIMF), has strongly condemned the recent terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. She called the incident “barbaric and inhuman,” expressing deep sadness over the killing of innocent people.
“This attack is not just on tourists—it is an attack on Kashmir’s peace and India’s unity,” she said. Ms. Asif offered her heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and said the entire country is mourning with them.
She also showed full support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India in their efforts to fight terrorism. “I request Modiji to take strict and fast action so that those responsible are punished. The people behind this evil act must not be spared,” she added.
Ms. Asif highlighted that such attacks are meant to spread fear and disturb peace and harmony. She said that hurting innocent people is an act of cowardice and it should be answered with strong steps.
She further urged all citizens to stay united, maintain communal harmony, and stand strong against forces trying to divide the country.
“The AIMF stands with every Indian, no matter their religion or region. We will always support efforts to protect the country’s unity and the safety of its people,” she said.
This powerful message comes at a time when the country is grieving but also standing firm in its fight against terrorism.
