CM Rekha Gupta hails air strike as a bold response to terror, slams opposition for questioning armed forces’ action, & supports Modi.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, a precision air strike targeting terrorist leadership in Pakistan.

Addressing the media, CM Gupta drew a sharp contrast between domestic political issues and the national security move, stating, “While we’re dealing with minor clean-up operations here, Prime Minister Modi has undertaken a far more significant cleansing mission. Through this decisive retaliation, he has taught Pakistan a powerful lesson.”

She further described the strike as a fulfillment of a longstanding commitment made by the Prime Minister. “PM Modi had made a promise to the sisters of this nation that change would come — today, he has delivered on that promise,” she asserted.

Criticizing the opposition’s skepticism over the operation, the Chief Minister remarked, “Those who are questioning the strike should go to the frontlines and take up arms themselves. Our brave soldiers have demonstrated extraordinary courage and heroism.”

Expressing her deep appreciation for the armed forces, CM Gupta said, “We thank our defence personnel for their unmatched bravery. They have given a bold and fitting response to Pakistan’s continued provocations.”

Her comments come amid a wave of political reactions nationwide following India’s cross-border operation, which officials have described as a targeted strike against terror infrastructure.
