New Delhi: OnePlus is gearing up to introduce two new smartphones with the unveiling of the OnePlus 12 series. The company has officially announced the arrival of the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in the Indian market, scheduled for an official launch on January 23, 2024.

Official reports reveal that the OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, coupled with 16GB of RAM. Interestingly, the prices of these smartphones have been leaked ahead of the official launch.

As per a report from Tech Plus, the OnePlus 11R is expected to be priced at approximately USD 499. Another variant of the phone, featuring 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is anticipated to be priced at USD 599.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is rumored to be priced at around USD 799 in the US. The 16GB and 512GB variant will reportedly be priced at USD 899.

Featuring a 6.82-inch QHD+ screen equipped with an LTPO AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate, the OnePlus 12 promises a remarkable visual experience. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the display stands out as one of the brightest available, suitable for outdoor use in intense sunlight. The screen supports Dolby Vision, 10-bit Color Depth, and ProXDR, earning it an A+ certification from DisplayMate for top-notch quality.

In terms of battery and charging capabilities, the OnePlus 12 is equipped with up to 50W wireless charging and an impressive 100W when connected via a wired option. OnePlus claims the phone can achieve a full 0 to 100 percent battery charge in just 26 minutes using a wired connection. With a 5,400 mAh battery capacity, the device also supports reverse charging, and the brand asserts that even after approximately 1,600 charging cycles, the battery should retain 80 percent of its capacity.

In the photography domain, the phone features a robust triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel main camera equipped with Sony LYT-808 and OIS, a 64MP periscope camera offering 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. Additionally, for selfies and video calls, the phone boasts a 32MP front-facing camera.
