Rajasthan Takes Centre Stage as Partner State at IITF 2025

Rajasthan’s artisans and entrepreneurs gain wider exposure at national and global platforms

New Delhi: Pragati Maidan hosted the opening of the India International Trade Fair, where the Rajasthan Pavilion, showcased as the Partner State, was inaugurated by Industries Secretary Alok Gupta.

Following the inauguration, Shri Alok Gupta visited all the stalls inside the Rajasthan Pavilion and encouraged the Rajasthani artists and skilled artisans. He stated that this year, the Rajasthan Pavilion has been further enriched with the participation of the Industries Department, Tourism Department, RIICO, BIP, Khadi, Rajeevika, and RUDA. Stalls showcasing Rajasthan’s traditional cuisine and handicraft products have also been set up.

Dedicated to the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, the Cultural collaboration of Rajasthan and Assam State will be a major attraction at this year’s pavilion. This special initiative will promote cultural, artistic, and trade exchange between the two states, thereby strengthening both commercial and cultural ties.

He added that this initiative by the Rajasthan Government will provide artisans, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and investors from the state with an excellent opportunity to enhance their presence at both national and international levels.

He further informed that a dedicated zone has been created this year for live demonstrations by artisans and entrepreneurs. Additionally, a One District One Product (ODOP) wall, along with an exhibition showcasing Rajasthan’s heritage, innovation, and sustainable industrial development, will also be featured.

Notably, Rajasthan has been accorded the status of Partner State for this year’s trade fair. Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (RSIC) has developed an attractive pavilion spread across approximately 1,000 square metres. The pavilion offers a distinctive glimpse into Rajasthan’s industrial progress, cultural diversity, arts, crafts, tourism, and investment potential.
