New Delhi: As part of its efforts to strengthen India’s MSME ecosystem, the Indian Industries Association (IIA) held an industry interaction and media briefing at its Central Office in New Delhi under the leadership of National President Shri Dinesh Goyal. During the event, IIA announced the 11th India Food Expo 2026, scheduled from 18–20 September 2026 at Regalia Greens, Gomti Nagar Extension, Lucknow. More than 100 entrepreneurs, industrialists, and MSME representatives attended the programme.
Advanced Technologies and MSME Subsidy to Be Key Attractions
Shri Alok Agarwal, National Senior Vice President, IIA, said the 11th India Food Expo 2026 will feature around 160 exhibition stalls showcasing innovations in food processing, packaging, cold chain, automation, logistics, and allied industries. He added that the first 60 eligible MSME exhibitors can receive up to 80% government assistance on stall bookings under the applicable government guidelines.
IIA Says Expo Will Strengthen Business and Investment Ecosystem
Highlighting the significance of the event, Shri Deepak Kumar Bajaj, General Secretary, IIA, said India Food Expo has established itself as a major business and networking platform in North India’s food processing sector.
He said the Expo will bring together industry leaders, startups, exporters, buyers, investors, technology providers, and policymakers to promote innovation, investment, exports, and business collaboration. He added that IIA represents over 16,000 members, connected to nearly one lakh industrial units across India.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Mamtamayi Priyadarshini, State Chairperson, IIA Delhi & Haryana, said the food processing sector is a major driver of employment, farmer prosperity, value addition, and MSME growth.
She said India Food Expo 2026 aims to unite policymakers, industry experts, educational institutions, startups, and innovators to accelerate technology adoption, strengthen entrepreneurship, promote sustainable industrial development, and support the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lakshmikant Pandey, CEC Member of IIA, said the technical sessions planned during the Expo will equip MSMEs with practical knowledge of emerging technologies. As a result, participants will be able to improve operational efficiency, enhance product quality, and strengthen their competitiveness in the market.
Shri Neeraj Bajaj, Secretary of the IIA Delhi Chapter, added that the Expo will enable MSMEs to build strategic business connections, access modern technologies, and expand into new domestic and international markets.
Industry Sessions, Buyer Meets and International Participation Planned
The upcoming three-day Expo will bring together industry experts through buyer-seller meets, technology exhibitions, technical conferences, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
The programme will cover important topics such as food processing, packaging, logistics, food safety, quality certification, AI-enabled manufacturing, branding, exports, and supply chain management. Additionally, international business delegations are expected to attend. This, in turn, will create opportunities for technology transfer, strategic alliances, and global trade.
Expo Opens Doors for MSMEs, Startups and Food Industry Businesses
The organisers have invited food processors, MSMEs, startups, exporters, FPOs, buyers, investors, and technology providers to participate in India Food Expo 2026. They said the event will help businesses connect with partners, showcase products, and explore new opportunities in India’s growing food processing industry.
