New Delhi: The Akhila Sevak Samaj Council (ASSC) has officially appointed Mr. P. Hassim as the State Chairman of its Kerala State Board. The appointment has been approved by the Board of Governors and the National Executive Council in accordance with the Council’s Constitution and Governing Bylaws. His tenure begins on August 3, 2026, and will continue for three years, subject to regular performance reviews.
Congratulating Mr. Hassim, Dr. Bhargav Mallappa, National Chairman & Founder of ASSC, expressed confidence that his leadership would strengthen the Council’s social service mission across Kerala.
In his new role, Mr. Hassim will spearhead ASSC’s welfare and community development programmes throughout the state. His responsibilities include expanding the organisation’s network, establishing District Executive Committees, recommending District Coordinators, guiding volunteer enrolment, and ensuring effective implementation of Council initiatives.
Mr. Hassim will also act as ASSC’s official representative before Kerala government departments, statutory authorities, and local administrative bodies.
In addition, he will ensure that all Kerala State Board activities comply with the Council’s constitutional provisions, governance framework, and administrative guidelines. Furthermore, he will work towards maintaining effective coordination and smooth implementation of ASSC initiatives across the state.
The Council said the appointment is honorary and executive in nature, with a focus on advancing public welfare, social justice, and national service.
ASSC has authorised him to use its official designation, branding, and seals for approved organisational work across Kerala.
The appointment order bears the signatures of Dr. Bhargav Mallappa and Dr. Baburaj V.R.
