IIM-A Alumnus Salil Aggarwal Shares Mantras for Success in the Corporate World

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Management Education and Research Institute (MERI), Delhi, recently organized an insightful and interactive session titled “Getting into the Right Attitude – Corporate Ready.” The session was conducted by Mr. Salil Aggarwal, Chairman of IIMAGES, an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, a renowned author, and a seasoned industry mentor with extensive experience in corporate leadership and professional development.

The session was specially designed for the final-year students of various courses including BBA, MBA, BCA, BA (JMC), and B.Com. Esteemed academic leaders such as Prof. Lalit Aggarwal (Vice President, MERI), Prof. Rakesh Khurana (Advisor, MERI), and Prof. Devendra Bahadur were also present, along with coordinators from different academic programs, reflecting the institute’s strong commitment to career readiness and holistic student development.

During the session, Mr. Salil Aggarwal emphasized that success in the corporate world does not solely rely on degrees or technical skills, but significantly on one’s attitude. He highlighted the importance of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, communication style, and professional conduct. He also stressed the value of punctuality, eagerness to learn, and proactive behavior—qualities that truly set a young professional apart in a competitive environment.
