The inaugural Veer Savarkar International Impact Awards celebrate global achievers advancing nation-building, innovation, and humanitarian service, as J&K LG Manoj Sinha reiterates commitment to 1,500-home rehabilitation project.

HRDS INDIA hosted the prestigious Veer Savarkar International Impact Awards 2025 at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, where Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, presided over the ceremony as the chief dignitary. The event brought together national leaders, international delegates, and social visionaries dedicated to transformative work in governance, innovation, culture, and humanitarian service.
During his address, Shri Manoj Sinha extended heartfelt congratulations to the award recipients. He highlighted the enduring relevance of Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s ideals—courage, reform, and national service—upon which the awards are founded.
He also reaffirmed the joint housing initiative between the J&K Government and HRDS INDIA, stating:
“In our first phase with HRDS INDIA, we are developing 1,500 modern homes for families affected by Operation Sindoor, conflict disruptions, and natural calamities. These homes will provide social security and strengthen the foundations of self-reliance and justice across society.”
Leadership Presence & Vision
The ceremony witnessed the presence of key HRDS INDIA leaders—Swami Atma Nambi Ji, President of HRDS INDIA; Dr. S. Krishna Kumar, Former Union Minister and Chairman of HRDS INDIA; K. G. Venugopal, Vice President; and Aji Krishnan, Founder–Secretary.
In his welcome address, Swami Atma Nambi Ji reflected on the organisation’s mission and said:
“We are deeply honoured by the presence of Shri Manoj Sinha Ji. His support strengthens our vision of empowering marginalized communities and contributing meaningfully to nation building.”
Dr. S. Krishna Kumar noted HRDS INDIA’s transformation from a modest initiative to a national movement, adding:
“With the visionary leadership of Shri Aji Krishnan and the guidance of Atma Nambi Ji, we aim to deliver one million homes for tribal families across India.”

The event featured an audio-visual tribute to Veer Savarkar and a captivating Nritham dance performance by Ms. Vaishnavi PJ, disciple of Padmashree V. Jayarama Rao.
Awardees of Veer Savarkar International Impact Award 2025
Eight distinguished personalities were honoured for contributions spanning governance, public policy, culture, global humanitarianism, and innovation:
1. Karuna Gopal – President, Foundation for Futuristic Cities (India)
Internationally recognised futurist and public policy leader celebrated for Smart Cities innovation, women-centric policy research, and her advisory role in technology and AI initiatives.
2. Dr. Bu Abdullah – Entrepreneur & Philanthropist (UAE)
Global humanitarian known for cross-border philanthropy, recognised by Guinness World Records and the World Book of Records.
3. Acharya K. R. Manoj – Arsha Vidya Samajam (India)
Spiritual teacher and social reformer devoted to value-based education, meditation guidance, and community upliftment.
4. Dr. Diana Suter – Social Worker (Switzerland)
International humanitarian dedicated to rehabilitation, social welfare, and community support initiatives across borders.

6. Mrs. Priyanka Singh – Educator & Community Advocate (Ireland)

7. M. Jayachandran – Music Composer (India)
Renowned Malayalam music composer and singer whose artistic contributions have enriched Indian cinema.

HRDS INDIA: A Legacy of Service
Established in 1995, HRDS INDIA continues to work across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Assam, Jharkhand, and Tripura, driving initiatives in tribal housing, rural development, skill-building, women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, healthcare, and education.
The evening concluded with Sudarsanam: Bharatam, a powerful dance-drama performed by women rehabilitated under the Sudarsanam De-Radicalization Programme, now serving as full-time Pracharikas contributing to social transformation.
