Vice President of India Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday jointly released Sanatan Sanskriti Ki Atal Drishti, a book authored by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani, at the Vice President’s Enclave in the national capital.

The Vice President remarked that Atal Bihari Vajpayee personified the ideal of placing the nation above all else, guided by moral clarity, humility, and unwavering principles. Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, addressing the gathering, emphasised that Sanatan, Hindu, and Indian culture are not separate ideas but expressions of the same civilisational consciousness. Referring to the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, he said Indian culture is rooted in inclusiveness, Sarva Dharma Sambhava, and equal respect for all faiths—values that were clearly reflected in Vajpayee ji’s public life and leadership.

Author Shri Vasudev Devnani said the book is an attempt to understand Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life, ideals, and governance through the timeless values of Sanatan culture. He noted that Vajpayee ji’s journey from a pracharak to Prime Minister symbolised steadfast nationalism, democratic commitment, and deep cultural grounding.

The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shri Bhagirath Choudhary, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Shri Sunil Ambekar, National Book Trust Chairman Shri Milind Marathe, senior officials, and other distinguished guests.
