‘Akaal’ Cast Brings Untold Stories of Punjab’s Valor to the Capital

The lead actors of the upcoming historical action drama “Akaal – The Unconquered”—Gippy Grewal, Nimrit Khaira, Nikitin Dheer, and Gurpreet Ghuggi—recently visited New Delhi as part of their film’s promotional tour. The promotional event was organized at the prestigious Le Meridien Hotel in the capital.

Set in the backdrop of 1840s Punjab, the film showcases the fierce resistance of Punjabi warriors as they stand strong against an invading army. Sharing insights about the film, Gippy Grewal expressed,“‘Akaal’ brings to light powerful stories that have remained unheard and unknown to many. The name itself—‘Akaal’—means timeless, something that cannot be conquered.”

This ambitious project is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, promising a grand cinematic experience. The film is all set to hit theatres on 10th April 2025.
