Gujarat’s First ‘Ramalaya Store’ Launched at Vadodara Airport

In a first for Gujarat, the Ramalaya Store was inaugurated today inside the Security Hold Area (SHA) of Vadodara Airport. This unique cultural initiative, launched by India’s leading luxury incense brand, JPSR Prabhu Shriram, aims to offer travelers an immersive, fragrance-led journey into the heart of India’s soul and traditions.
A Spiritual Space Amidst Travel
The centre was officially inaugurated by BJP MLA and Gujarat Assembly Chief Whip, Shri Balkrishna Shukla. Speaking at the event, he said, “Ramalaya brings India’s spiritual core to life in a refined, experiential format. It reflects the spirit of Gujarat and India—deeply spiritual, divinely inspired, and ready to guide the world. Vadodara Airport is proud to be the site of this extraordinary cultural and fragrant initiative.”
The Ramalaya Store is part of JPSR’s broader mission to revive and showcase India’s spiritual and artistic heritage through the power of scent. Travelers can now explore India’s soul through curated incense collections and engaging cultural storytelling while waiting for their flights.
Incense Meets Art, Mythology, and Culture
The centre features JPSR’s signature Shripad Ramayan Collection, inspired by the 1,000-year-old Madhubani art tradition from Mithila—birthplace of Goddess Sita. Each luxury incense set combines sacred storytelling, divine imagery, and distinctive fragrances, bringing the teachings of the Ramayana to life in a contemporary and soulful format.

Other Exclusive Collections:
- Kannauj Collection – A tribute to the rich perfumery heritage of India’s fragrance capital, Kannauj. This range features traditional, handcrafted incense inspired by timeless scents.
- Ellora Perfume Line (Upcoming) – A modern mythological fragrance series inspired by Indian temple art and the grandeur of Ellora’s heritage.
A Temple for the Senses
Prashant Kumar, CMD of Mode Retail Sales & Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and Founder of the Ramalaya Foundation, remarked, “Ramalaya is our humble effort to bring India’s spiritual and cultural legacy to life through the art of fragrance. In today’s world, airports are the new temples—where thoughts travel. Through incense inspired by the Ramayana and ancient Indian art, we aim to offer travelers not just scent, but a deep cultural and spiritual encounter.”
He added that their goal is to establish Ramalaya Experience Centres in major airports across India and worldwide, allowing global audiences to experience India’s essence through scent and storytelling.
A Cultural Mission Rooted in India’s Soul
Ramalaya seeks to inspire youth and society at large by spreading the values, traditions, and artistry that define India. It is envisioned not only as a tribute to India’s spiritual excellence but also as a step toward realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a “Vishwaguru”—a spiritual guide to the world.
