Dr. K.A. Paul Issues 72-Hour Ultimatum to Rahul Gandhi, Threatens Legal and Political Action Over Hyderabad University Land Deal
Renowned Christian evangelist and Prajashanti Party president Dr. K.A. Paul has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of betraying democratic values and jeopardizing the future of young students. Dr. Paul alleged that the Congress-led government is attempting to sell 400 acres of Hyderabad University land—worth over ₹1 lakh crore—to private corporations like Adani.
Issuing a 72-hour ultimatum, he warned that if the deal is not immediately scrapped, he will initiate both legal and political action against the Congress government.
Questioning Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Shop of Love’
Dr. Paul took direct aim at Rahul Gandhi, recalling the promises made during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. “Were the dreams shown to the youth under the name of ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukaan’ (Shop of Love) just a façade?” he asked.
He further accused the Congress government of forcefully suppressing student protests and even arresting students on Eid. Calling the land deal a betrayal of Telangana’s future, he questioned, “Does Congress care only about the money it’s receiving from Adani?”
Legal Battle and Threat to Overthrow Telangana Government
Dr. Paul made it clear that if the deal is not canceled within 72 hours, he will file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) to legally challenge and halt the sale.
“I stopped the sale of the steel plant, I protected farmers’ lands in Kamareddy, and I will stop this too. Whether it is a BJP or Congress government, the future of our youth cannot be sold!” he declared.
He further warned that if Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy continue their “secret land sale conspiracies,” the Congress government in Telangana will be removed from power.
Appeal to the Public, Media, and Police
Dr. Paul urged the public, media, and police to take a stand in defense of democracy and prevent the land sale.
“Share this message until it reaches Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Revanth Reddy. Before it’s too late, we must save democracy,” he stated.
