Ravi (Sonu) Kundli Likely to Join Next Haryana Cabinet, Says Dr. Ramdas Athawale

Kurukshetra, April 26:
Advocate Ravi (Sonu) Kundli, Haryana State President of the Republican Party of India (A), is expected to secure a ministerial position in the next Haryana government, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Ramdas Athawale said on Friday.

Speaking at a grand event organized at Kurukshetra University to mark Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, Dr. Athawale, who also serves as the national president of RPI (A), highlighted the growing influence of the party in Haryana.
“We are steadily building a strong vote bank in Haryana, just as we did earlier,” Dr. Athawale said, citing the participation of around 3,000 to 4,000 people at the event as a sign of the party’s expanding grassroots reach.

Expressing confidence in the party’s future prospects, Dr. Athawale said leaders like Ravi (Sonu) Kundli are preparing to take on key leadership roles.
“Just as I became a minister at the Centre, leaders like Ravi Sonu Kundli will undoubtedly serve as Cabinet Ministers in Haryana and will actively work for the welfare of the poor and marginalized,” he asserted.

Reaffirming RPI (A)’s commitment to the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Dr. Athawale said the party is dedicated to making social justice a reality rather than limiting it to slogans.
“We are committed to protecting the rights of the poor, Dalits, and the deprived sections of society,” he added.

The gathering also took a serious tone over national security concerns, with Dr. Athawale condemning the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He expressed solidarity with the victims and assured that the government would adopt an even tougher stance against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he said, “Just as the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir paved the way for development, a decisive strike will also be made against terrorism.”

The event was chaired by Advocate Ravi (Sonu) Kundli and attended by a large number of supporters and party workers from across Haryana.
