9th Health & Wellness Expo 2026 Ends with Emphasis on AYUSH and Healthy Lifestyle

‘Kaki Maa’ Healthy Pickles and Sattu Become a Highlight at Health & Wellness Expo 2026

New Delhi: The 9th International Health & Wellness Expo (IHWE) 2026 concluded on Sunday after bringing together leading voices from the AYUSH, healthcare and wellness sectors. Namo Gange Trust organised the three-day event at Hall No. 12, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, from August 21 to 23.

The expo focused on AYUSH, Ayurveda, homeopathy, preventive healthcare, integrated healthcare, nutrition, wellness and healthy lifestyles. Organisers said the event attracted more than 100 national and international exhibitors, over 10,000 visitors, 1,000+ buyers and more than 150 expert speakers. Healthcare professionals, doctors, researchers and industry stakeholders also participated.

Traditional Indian Foods Gain Spotlight

Alongside healthcare innovations, traditional Indian food products also attracted visitors. ‘Kaki Maa’ healthy pickles and sattu became a notable attraction at the expo, combining traditional food practices with growing interest in nutrition and wellness.

Kaki Maa founder Anshu Jha said the brand prepares its products in Patna, Bihar, through traditional processes. The pickles contain homemade spices and mustard oil, while the brand makes sattu by soaking, drying and roasting chickpeas and then grinding them in a traditional stone mill. The use of Mithila paintings on the packaging adds a distinct cultural identity to the products.

Experts Explore Traditional and Modern Healthcare

The 18th Arogya Conference focused on evidence-based traditional medicine, preventive healthcare, integrated healthcare, Ayurveda, homeopathy, nutrition and holistic health. Experts discussed the role of scientific research and evidence-based practices in strengthening traditional healthcare systems.

The Healthcare Innovation Summit and leadership forums also explored emerging areas such as digital health, AI-powered healthcare, preventive medicine, nutrition, wellness tourism and AYUSH.

Excellence Awards Honour Health Sector Contributions

The expo concluded with the Namo Gange Global Health Excellence Awards 2026. The awards recognised individuals and institutions for their contributions to healthcare, AYUSH, wellness, research and innovation.

Vijay Sharma, Chairman of Namo Gange Trust, said IHWE seeks to create opportunities for knowledge exchange, innovation, investment, business collaboration and global partnerships. He further said India can play a leading role globally in AYUSH, traditional medicine, natural health resources and holistic wellness.
